Norman is a Senior Associate at Averta and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. He is an experienced Tribunal advocate having represented both Claimants and Respondents

In addition Norman is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and Chairman of Birmingham branch Ilex. He is also a member of Birmingham Law Society and sits on the Education & Training Committee. He is a regular contributor of legal articles to professional journals and national magazines.

Successfully defending a firm of solicitors in respect of a Disability Discrimination claim including successfully challenging the medical expert's report.

Acting for a director of well known High Street Company in issues involving P.H.I, shares and pension entitlements.

Advising on many Severance / Compromise Agreements for directors , senior individuals and corporate clients including restrictive covenants, garden leave, injunctions and litigation.

Advising director of national company in respect of protected disclosure in whistle blowing claim

Advising upon employment tribunal claims in relation to unfair dismissal, redundancy and discrimination

Sole advisor to West Midlands Fire Service upon all aspects of recent national dispute
