Rebecca South-Allen

Rebecca initially joined Averta Employment Lawyers in 2006 as a Trainee Paralegal Secretary following the completion of her Law with Business Degree. From 2007 to 2008, Rebecca successfully completed the Legal Practice Course and soon after joined Averta Employment Lawyers as a Paralegal Secretary. In May 2009, Rebecca became the first trainee solicitor within Averta Employment Lawyers and she is due to complete her training contract in November 2010, when she will be a qualified solicitor.

Image Assisting with complex whistleblowing claims

Image Assisting in preparing for multi-day discrimination cases

Image Attending grievance and disciplinary hearings on behalf of individual clients and companies

Image Attending grievance and disciplinary hearings on behalf of individual clients and companies

Image Assisting with threatened injunction proceedings

Image Attending Employment Tribunals and mediations

Image Assisting senior executives and board members in negotiating settlements

Image Drafting many documents including Tribunal pleadings, compromise agreements, grievances, witness statements and affidavits

Outside of work, Rebecca is a keen scuba diver and in 2008 became an Advanced Open Water PADI diver. Rebecca also enjoys travelling and skiing.
